Transitional Phrases
Adding transitional phrases to your essays can make your writing more interesting and easier to follow. Your understanding of transitional phrases is also often assessed on Standardized Tests, like the ACT, SAT, GRE, and GMAT.
Generally, transitional phrases fall into 3 categories: Agree, Disagree, and Order. Understanding this can help you identify the most appropriate transition for the passage.
